Imam Hashim has been an integral part of the Islamic Center of Inglewood since 1993, dedicating himself to serving the community with passion and devotion. As our esteemed Imam, Hashim plays a vital role in leading our congregational prayers (Jama’at) and imparting Islamic knowledge to our community members.

Leading Jama’at Sessions

With his deep understanding of Islamic principles and teachings, Imam Hashim leads Jama’at sessions at our mosque five to six days a week. His recitation of the Quran during these sessions fills our hearts with tranquility and spiritual nourishment, fostering a sense of unity and connection among our congregation.

Teaching Islamic Studies

In addition to leading prayers, Imam Hashim is actively involved in teaching Islamic studies at our center. Through weekend school sessions on Saturdays and Sundays, as well as weekday Madrasa sessions, he imparts invaluable knowledge of the Quran, Hadith, and Islamic ethics to our community members of all ages.

Focus on Quran Memorization and Reading
